DG #18 previews
With just a week before DG #18 goes to press, we thought we’d share a few sneaky shots of our art director’s monitor. The new issue covers the first quarter of 2015, which saw terror attacks in Paris and Copenhagen, the election victory of radical leftists Syriza in Greece, and, as documented by Christian’s illustration at the bottom of this post, excited speculation that the woolly mammoth could make an unlikely comeback.
As you can see, something mysterious involving over 20 billion chickens also happened, but you’ll need to read the print edition to find out what.
The issue is expected to hit doormats on 11th June. If you’re not a subscriber yet, there’s still time to sign up and start on DG #18. Since the sun’s shining in central London this morning – that’s the Thames you can see glimmering in the screen reflection – and we’re feeling cheery, we’ll give you a discount too.
