LIVE ONLINE EVENT: The DG Reading Club
At the DG Reading Club we take a fascinating long read from our archive and discuss it with the journalist who wrote it.
This time we’re looking at this amazing piece about Qatar and the World Cup from the latest issue.
We’ll be interviewing the author, James Montague, over Zoom on Thursday 16th April from 6.30pm-7.15pm. We’ll be asking him about his 15 years reporting from the Middle East and on the most controversial World Cup in the history of football.
The event is free and open to all. Participants will be able to put their questions to James and talk to him about his work, career and what the tournament in 2022 might look like.
Sign up here (only one sign-up needed per household) and we’ll send you details of how to log in nearer the time.
