How to be a features writer class
This event is now sold out, but we do have a selection of other classes here
We will be running a class on Thursday 12th April 2018 to show how you can become a features writer and start getting commissioned to write stories
In this class you will learn:
-How to come up with compelling features ideas that editors will want to commission
-The golden rules for pitching stories
-How to be recommissioned over and again
-How to write sensational long form features
-How to conduct interviews
-How to survive as a freelance features writer
The class will take place in a lovely 19th-century lecture theatre at King’s College London (KCL): attendees should arrive at KCL’s Strand Campus reception between 6pm and 6.25pm on the night
