UK:
The last posting date that Royal Mail recommends for delivery in time for Christmas is Sunday 17th December, but due to expected high levels of shipping during this period we urge you to get your order in before this date.

International posting dates:
Countries within the EU – Tuesday 5th December
Elsewhere in the world – Sunday 3rd December

When will my gift subscription start?
If you sign up for a gift subscription now, your recipient will receive their first issue in March 2024. This is because we are a quarterly title that publishes in March, June, September and December. We’ll also send you a login to give them unlimited access to our digital archive allowing them to enjoy everything we have ever published straight away.

Can I give my recipient something sooner?
You can indeed. Either add a copy of the current issue of the magazine to your order or a copy of our book ‘An Answer For Everything’– or a bundle of both! You could also print off a gift certificate – we’ll send you a link to one in your confirmation email.

Where will you send the copy of the current issue?
If you choose to add a copy of the current issue or our book to your order, you can choose whether you want it to be delivered to your billing address or to the recipient’s shipping address.

Can I change the shipping address?
If you add a copy of the current issue or our book to your order, that will be sent out straight away to whichever address you specify. But you can change the shipping address for all subsequent deliveries by updating your details in the customer portal or by emailing us with instructions for the change.

How many copies will they get?
With an annual subscription to Delayed Gratification, your gift recipient will receive 4 issues of the magazine (unless you sign up for a two-year subscription, in which case they’ll get 8!)

Can I make changes to their subscription, or cancel it?
You can make changes to your subscription, including updating your recipient’s address, updating your payment details or cancelling your subscription at any time via our website. We’ll send you full details of that process with your confirmation email. Alternatively send an email to hello@slow-journalism.com, and we’ll take care of that for you right away.
