DG #22: previews from our art director

The day our art director puts up the first ‘minis’ on the wall is always an exciting one here at DG HQ. For each issue, Christian Tate starts printing miniature versions of the pages of the magazine in their final lay-out several weeks before we go to print, so we know exactly where we stand and what copy we need to get to him stat.

Today, our wall of minis (above) is looking pleasingly full already – which is a good thing considering we’re pushing the button on the next issue on Monday.

To get you all as excited as we are about the issue, we’ve asked Christian to take some snaps of some of the pages he’s been working on. Here’s a little preview of what to expect from DG #22, covering January through March 2016.

UK subscribers can expect to receive the issue in mid June, while foreign deliveries will take a few days extra. If you’re not a subscriber yet but would like to receive the issue, there’s still time to sign up and start your subscription with DG #22. Just head here to subscribe. If you use promo code ‘SLOWNEWSDAY’ we’ll give you 10 percent off.
